I sincerely hope you can read those.
Some personal recommendations:
The Bamboo Garden on Purchase Street has good tasting Chinese food, but I've heard their kitchen is disgusting. You're welcome to take the risk.
No Problemo, literally right across the street from the building, has THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD I've ever tasted! I've never heard a bad thing about the place, nor have I ever had a really bad meal there. Everything tastes good. And the workers are very friendly. I highly recommend it!
The Green Bean has quite a bit of veggie/vegan and gluten-free fare, as well as fresh juices and smoothies, but they can be a bit pricey at times (if you ask me). However, their food isn't bad, and it's right down the street. If you leave BCC on Purchase Street and take a left and go all the way down to the corner of Union and Purchase, the Green Bean is right there.
Destination Soups is on Union (if you take a left at the Green Bean). I just recently started going there. Delicious soup! They also have vegan and gluten-free food.
Brick is right next to Destination Soups. They have the most unique-tasting (and delicious) pizzas/calzones.
Celtic Coffee House is now called Tia Maria's. I haven't been personally, but I've heard it's delicious.
My personal experience with Freestones isn't great, but other people seem to love it (it may be because I'm a vegetarian). It's located on William Street. Take a right out of BCC, turn right on the first street (that's William) and then cross the street and go down a little ways, passed Carters. That's where you'll find Freestones.
Cafe Arpeggio is located in the BCC Purchase Street campus. They have good smoothies, soups, salads, sandwiches, bakery goods, etc. They can be a little pricey, but you get a 10% discount with your BCC ID. They're also really good for when the weather is sucky and you don't want to leave the building to get lunch.
And just because I haven't listed a restaurant, doesn't mean it isn't good, it just means I haven't tried it yet! Be adventurous; downtown New Bedford has some really great places.
