The Clinic

Here at Bristol Community College, we have a brand new, fully functional massage clinic, which includes:

~A "waiting room," where clients actually come in, sign in, fill out intake forms and wait for their student massage therapist (SMT). SMT's use this room as part of their classroom, to learn how to run an actual massage clinic, including welcoming clients, booking appointments and clients.

~A "hydro room," where we store many of our supplies, including lotions, oils, ice, and hot packs.

~The clinic, which includes 10 heated massage tables, each with its own drawers, rolling stool, chair, and laptop stand. It serves as an actual clinic, which is open to the public and run by the second-semester students on certain days.

~ Our own bathroom with a shower, which clients can use to wash off excess oil after a massage.

These rooms are strictly for classroom use. Other students in the building (aside from Occupational Therapy Students) won't even be walking through the clinic waiting room. These rooms are for Therapeutic Massage use only!

It's a beautiful building and we do our best to take care of it. For many of us it becomes our second home! It's certainly different from the normal college experience. I hope you grow to love it as much as I do!
